Fredden Hill Bronze Age field system (Wooler)

These are the remains of a Bronze Age field system on Fredden Hill. It includes a cairnfield and an enclosure containing internal divisions. It is thought that these are Bronze Age in date, and are probably some of the earliest remains of agriculture in the Cheviots. This is a Scheduled Monument protected by law.
