Farm buildings at High Staward Farm (Haydon)
Early 19th century planned farm buildings. There are ranges on three sides of a rectangular farmyard, with cartshed, threshing barn and gingang to the rear. (1)
It is thought that the present buildings may have replaced earlier buildings. Historic map evidence show the presence of buildings on or near the site from the 18th century. They were probably built by the Bacon family. A detailed description of the exterior and interior of the buildings is provided before conversion to holiday accommodation. (2)
