Superintendant's House, Whittle Dene Reservoirs (Horsley)
The house was built in 1848 by John Dobson for the Newcastle and Gateshead Water Company. It was built in Tudor style with an octagonal tower. The room in the tower was used as a meeting room by the company directors. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
