Apperley Farmhouse (Broomley and Stocksfield)
The farmhouse dates from the 17th century, when it was lived in by the Boutflower family. During the 1930s it was remodelled and extended by Lord Gort using old material and architectural features from Newcastle and elsewhere. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
