Bickerton Pill Box (Hepple)
NT 992004 Bickerton pill box. This pillbox was part of the Coquet Stop Line which extended from Amble to the headwaters of the river Coquet. Any attack was expected from the north as pillboxes were built at strategic points on the south side of the river. The best preserved portion of the stop line is between Felton and Hepple. (1)
