Prehistoric Pot (Hepple)

A very small food vessel was found at Hepple. It is 1-3/4in high, 2-1/2in wide at the mouth and 1-5/8in wide at the bottom. It has four perforated ears and on the bottom is a cross of twisted thong impressions. (Illustration in Bronze Age Pottery, 2 1912 Plate LXXXII, fig 283, J Abercromby). (1)
