Pillbox at Seaton Sluice (Seaton Valley)
These are the remains of a pillbox, a small fortified gun emplacement made from sandbags. It stands on sand-dunes near the sea. Pillboxes were built during World War II (1939-45) as a defence against possible invasion from Germany.
