Defence Lights (Blyth)
A number of large searchlights were placed at this site. They were part of the larger group of defences at the Blyth Coastal Defence Battery. The lights were used to look for possible enemy ships during World War One (1914-18). This is a Grade II listed building and Scheduled Monument protected by law.
