Prehistoric Axe (Seaton Valley)
Polished stone axehead. Secondary Neolithic found Holywell/Seaton Delaval. Presented to the Museum of Antiquities Newcastle by Mr A P Thompson. Acc No 1963.8. (1)
Mr Thompson says that the axehead was found in February 1963 by workmen removing an underground cable. (2)
