Hadston Links anti-tank defence. Second World War large concrete cubes installed along the Northumberland coast by Sir Edmund Ironside - 'crust'. It is extant at points sporadically all along the coast. See photograph A24. (1)
Second World War tank trap consisting of anti tank cubes is visible as structures on air photographs, centred at NU 2744 9995.
Anti tank cubes visible centred at NU 2739 9980 and NU 2750 0010 respectively.
The features are not visible on the latest 1989 Ordnance Survey vertical photography but some of all of the anti-tank cubes may have been buried by shifting sands. (2a)
