Lady Chapel (Pegswood)
These are the ruins of Lady Chapel which stand on the north bank of the River Wansbeck. It was probably first built in the mid-14th century, but it was rebuilt in the later 15th century. Some of the carvings from the chapel were taken to Bothal Castle in the early 19th century. Nearby a small holy well can be seen. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
