Possible medieval buildings (Brinkburn and Hesleyhurst)

[Name NZ 12079860] Ancient foundations. (1)

A paved way from the bridge (NZ 19 NW 2) appears to have entered the camp (NZ 19 NW 7) and there are traces of buildings. There were farm buildings there within the memory of the late Mr Leighton. The bridge and road are probably contemporary with the Priory (NZ 19 NW 1). (2)

[NZ 11959857 and NZ 11999865] Ancient foundation. [Annotation of the northern feature refers to a small L-shaped platform that to the south refers to a rectangular pecked outline measuring 11m x 6m]. (3)

Both sides occur on a natural shelf on the steep slopes above the Coquet. The area is very overgrown and no trace of any building foundations could be seen.
It seems possible that these foundations, fairly close to the bridge and old track [NZ 19 NW 10] may have been of buildings associated with the Priory. (4)
