Bronze Age burial (Rothley with Hollinghill)

Case 'C' No 17, an urn, 4ins high, 4-1/2ins wide at the top and 3ins wide at the bottom, containing calcined bones, was found in 1876 when digging a drain near the Bell Bush Cottage. It was in a cist formed of flat stones. (1)
