Standing Stone (Belsay)

[NZ 06588211] Tumulus. (1)

About 90ft in circumference, and found by Warburton to contain a short cist, but no remains or grave goods. (2)

A large flat-topped round barrow 1.9m high with a slight depression in the centre. Now turf-covered. Published survey (25 inch) revised. (3)
