Littleharle Tower (Kirkwhelpington)

Littleharle Tower is mentioned in a document written in 1541. It is not mentioned in a list written in 1415, so it was probably built between 1415 and 1541. The house probably had a hall and a tower to begin with. The tower is associated with the deserted medieval village of Little Harle. The hall has been replaced in the 16th, 18th and 19th centuries. The tower of the original house is incorporated into the latest rebuild. Littleharle Tower is a Grade II* Listed Building, protected by law.
