Wallridge Deserted Medieval Village (Belsay)
NZ 055766 Deserted medieval village at Wallridge. (1)
Apart from modern additions, Wallridge consists of a single farm at NZ 05427659. Associated out-buildings at NZ 05347707, which represent its predecessor, and traces of another farmstead at NZ 04327684 (visible on aerial photographs), together with intervening rig-and-furrow suggests that any 'village' was of the non-nucleated type.
