Iron Age or Roman settlement near Horsley Wood (Ovingham)
An aerial photograph the field immediately west of Horsley Wood shows cropmarks and earthworks. This is all that remains of a roughly rectangular enclosure, containing a round house. This site is probably an Iron Age or Roman settlement.
