Stable End and Yew Tree Cottage (Broomhaugh and Riding)
Stable End Cottage incorporates a bastle of late 16th or early 17th century date. It was remodelled when Yew Tree Cottage was added at the end of the 17th century. The central byre entrance survives in the bastle and retains is original harr-hung oak door in an oak frame. This is an extremely rare survival. This is a Grade II Listed Building.
