The Spital Well - a mineral well. (4)
'It was rather a spring than a well. The water used to run into a trough. My husband drained away the water about 30 years ago'. (5)
The site is in a small valley. The ground is now quite dry and there is no trace of the old well to be seen. (6)
The site of the well has been entirely effaced by bulldozers whilst laying water mains. (7)
The site of the well was looked at but later photography shows the area to have been levelled as mentioned by a previous authority. (8)
