Batter Law enclosure (Hawthorn)

An aerial photograph has shown a possible Iron Age enclosure at Batter Law, Easington. There are possible circular features which towards the northern corner of the enclosures which might be tentatively identified as hut circles. Iron Age querns have been recovered from the area of the enclosure, as well as possible shaped stones.
