Sleeper Stones adjacent to Byerley Road, Shildon

Stone sleepers and rails set along the line of the former S&DR trackbed adjacent to the surviving semaphore signal, directly across the road from the former Mason's Arms public house. There is an information panel beside the sleepers and track, which was all installed by the Friends of the Stockton and Darlington Railway in 2021. (1)

This was added to the Local List on 13th November 2023.
