Timothy Hackworth Public House,107 Main Street/Auckland Terrace, Shildon

The building dates from the 19th century and has been a public house since its erection. The former Surtees branch line passed in front of the building where the road is now situated. The former name of the pub the Alma Inn is inscribed vertically along the quoins on the left gable end. (1)
