Timothy Hackworth Primary School, Byerley Rd, Shildon

Large, early 20th century school, The main school building is set back from the road, two storey and brick construction with slate roof. There are large openings in a uniform pattern across the front elevation over two storeys. The building features extensive architectural detail, notably in the varied brickwork, symmetry, gables and numerous large chimneys. (1)
