The Heated Wall is a high and thick wall constructed from hand made bricks. This is a south-facing wall, which now features a footpath along its northern side and houses to its southern side. It formed part of the Rector's garden and is a hollow wall ' a furnace heated the wall which helped fruit to ripen early for use in the associated house. It is located outside the registered parkland of Ceddesfield Hall, but is a key surviving historic feature. (1)
