A plaque commemorating the old Cross Street, Cross street is first on the Second edition OS Maps (1). The plague marks the street as 1874 (2). Cross street remained the name of this street until around 1970 when it was combined with Hawthorn Terrace (3).

This site was added to the Local List on 13th November 2023.
