The Shambles (cobbled road), Staindrop 02/12/2021
A cobbled path to the east of South Green in Staindrop, it is on the 1st Edition OS maps (2). The rest of the green was once cobbled before being turfed in the 19th Century, it was once used as a corn and cattle market (3).

This site was added to the Local List on 13th November 2023.
