Wheatsheaf Inn, 42, North Green, Staindrop (Staindrop)

This inn was extant on the 1st edition OS map. It has some interesting architectural features (1) (2). Public house shown established on second edition OS plan of 1898. Two storey rough render finish with pitched gable to right side, part timbered at upper floor with decorative bargeboards with ridge pinnacle. Large traditional pub widow with timber surround to right of solid timber door and surround with overlight. (3)
