This ruined) structure is a kiln on the site of a brick and tile works that existed here in the 19th century. The history of the works is not yet clear, but the kiln is oblong in plan with a domed roof. Following the closure of the brick works, the kiln was used for other purposes by the neighbouring Kepier Farm until the second half of the 20th century (1).

This site was added to the Local List on 13th November 2023.
