The Grayson Stone cup-and-ring-marked outcrop, Stobgreen Plantation, Egglestone (Eggleston)
This is one of four carved rocks known in Stobgreen Plantation. The carving consists of three cup-marks with rings, and at least nine other cup-marks. These carvings occur on the top and the sloping north face of the rock. The visible portion of the rock is about two metres long and one metre wide, and stands about 0.5 metres high (1) (2) (3). This is a Scheduled Monument, protected by law (9).
