This cup and ring marked stone lies on the southerly slope of Goldsborough Rigg. There are at least three cup marks, several parallel descending grooves and several other grooves. The rock is partly covered by turf and the visible part measures 1.4m by 0.8m by 0.2-3m high. This stone probably dates to the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age date. This is a Scheduled Ancient Monument protected by law (1).
