Illustration of a cup-marked boulder, eastern enclosure site, Osmaril Gill, Barningham Moor 1980-1997
This sandstone boulder has at least five cup marks on it. These were probably carved in the Early Bronze Age or Neolithic periods. Other depressions on the panel were probably created naturally through water erosion. This is a Scheduled Monument, protected by law (1).
