Small square enclosures, Cockfield (Cockfield)
Five small square enclosures with internal 'comb'-like banks are visible as earthworks. Of post medieval date, the enclosures are 'C'-shaped with an open north face. Their function is uncertain, though they may be associated with industrial activity on Cockfield Fell. The earthworks remain extant on the latest 2015 vertical photography. (2)
