Trimdon cinema was built in the 1950s It was later turned into a clothing factory which closed in 1999. The main interest in the building is that front of the building facing onto the street re-used stonework from the mid 18th century banqueting house at Hardwick Park a few miles to the south and demolished in the 1950s.
