Site Details

Mound, Stockley Beck, Brancepeth (Brancepeth)

This is the site of a mound which could be a Bronze Age burial mound or barrow but may just be natural. It has been badly damaged by ploughing. The mound is surrounded by a bank and ditch. The bank is also damaged in places, possibly by the planting of trees (1).
