WW1 Tank, Consett Park off Aynsley Terrace (Consett)

It is documented that for many years a First World War tank was sited inside the park just off Aynsley Terrace as a memorial in memory of those who fell during the conflict. It is also mentioned that it was taken away to aid the war effort during the Second World War and its location/survival is now unknown (1).
