Site of War Memorial (now relocated), All Saint's Churchyard, New Shildon (Shildon)

A First World War memorial cross on a slender tapering shaft and square pedestal was once located here. It was relocated to a site opposite the North Eastern Rail Institute on Redworth Road in 2002 and a gravestone-shaped dedication stone was erected here in its place detailing the relocation. (1)
