Sherburn Primary School (Sherburn)

Sherburn Primary School frist appears on the third edition Ordnance Survey maps of 1919-1926 (1). It is documented that the school became redundant when the new school opened in the 1960's (2), showing on the sixth epoch OS maps (3) at NZ 32098 42653. The original school building was demolished in the 1980's and aerial photographs (4) show that the site has been built over with modern housing, labelled on maps as School Court.
