Presbyterian Church, Adolphus Street, Seaham (Seaham)

The Presbyterian Church on Adolphus Street was opened in 1882 (1). The church was completely destroyed along with other buildings in the immediate area when a German landmine exploded on Adolphus Street in 1943 during the Second World War (1).

The church once contained a war memorial roll of honour dedicated to men of the church who had left the town to serve in the First World War. A communion chair also carried a memorial plaque dedicated to fallen members (5-6).
