War Memorial Cross (All Wars), outside Fulforth Community Centre, Sacriston (Sacriston)

Originally unveiled in 1981 in a memorial garden adjacent to the Community Hall (NZ 23964 47210) just to the north of the memorials' present location. It was moved here in 2010 when the original garden was built over by a new car park and supermarket as part of the 'Heart of the Village' regeneration scheme. It's current location is within a newly pedestrianised area on the site of the former Memorial Institute, outside of Fulforth Community Centre. The cross is of white Italian marble on a four-tiered base with the dedication carried across the front face of the three upper tiers: "In memory of / those who gave their lives in the service of their country so that we shall live. / They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old. We will remember them." Rededicated 2010. (1-2)
