Kimblesworth Colliery Memorial Hall, Park View, Nettlesworth (Nettlesworth)
Kimblesworth Colliery memorial Hall was opened in 1924, it is large red brick structure with pebbledash rendering on the walls and a pitched red pantile roof. The south facing gable fronting onto Park View is two storeys in height, entrance and windows on the ground floor with a dormer style feature forming the upper storey and bearing the name and date of the building in large gold lettering. Used as a Miners' Welfare Hall and dedicated to the 300 men of the area who enlisted during the First World War, 60 of whom died. The hall contains a number of memorial features dedicated to the men to whom the building itself was built as a memorial to. (1-2)
