Today the Evenwood Working Men's Club is located on the south east edge of Evenwood village centre along Manor Street, next to the Bay Horse Inn. The building is stone built with bay windows at the front, a pitched roof steeper at the front than at the back and two large chimney stacks centrally located along the roof line (1). Buildings do appear in this area on the first edition Ordnance Survey map (2) though it is not clear whether they are the same buildings that show up on the second edition where the Bay Horse Inn is labelled (3) and the terrace seems to be more substantial. The buildings remain on mapping data right the way through to the present day, reflecting changes and extensions that are visible on modern aerial photographs and streetview data (4) (1). The working men's club is known to contain a First World War memorial roll of honour (5).
