St. Catherine's Church, Front Street, Fishburn (Fishburn)
Originally built as a temporary building in 1922 but never subsequently replaced, St. Catherine's Church is a small timber framed building off the north side of Front Street in Fishburn. The walls consist of white panelling between darker timbers, the frame supporting a pitched roof. There is an entrance porch on the western gable as well as a short tower at the north west corner incised with a cross (1).
The church is known to contain a number of features dedicated as war memorials, whilst in the churchyard is a memorial graveplot in the form of a kerbed area containing green stones and a headstone bearing the names of men of Fishburn who fell in two World Wars, inscribed "Lest We Forget" (NEWMP F39.03 UKNIWM 10308).
