War Memorial Cross near Town Hall, Ferryhill (Ferryhill)
Dedication carried on front of plinth, in memory of the men of East Howle and Crossings who gave their lives in the First World War. Names of WW1 dead carried in single columns on the sides of the plinth, additional dedication to those who died in WW2 is carried on the rear face of the plinth.
The cross was moved her from East Howle (a small mining settlement) but the exact date of its unveiling in Ferryhill is unknown. (1-2)
