St. John the Baptist's Church and churchyard, Quebec (Quebec)
The church first appears on the second edition Ordnance Survey map (1) with a path leading north from Front Street through the square churchyard to the entrance. The church itself is stone built with steep pitched roof and a short bell towerover the western gable. The church and churchyard remain the same size and shape to the present day although the church closed in 2011. The church contains a number of features dedicated as war memorials, some of which have been transferred here from other locations (2-3). It was proposed that all of the memorial plaques of the church were to be moved to St. Michael and All Angels Church at Esh (2).
