Wesleyan Methodist Chapel (closed), Station Road, Cornforth (Cornforth)
The Wesleyan Methodist Chapel first appears on Station Road on the second edition Ordnance Survey map of 1894-99 (1). Mapping data from the 1950's (2) shows that an institute was built next to the church which became the local library and now exists as the Community Centre. The church itself is now closed but it is known that it once contained a war memorial that is now located in the Community Centre next door (3-4).
