Kemnay granite memorial cross on tapering octagonal shaft set on a square pedestal at the top of three steps. The whole is set within a stone walled enclosure, three courses of stone in the main around the edges but rising to seven courses in a staggered arrangement at each corner of the wall. Wall surmounted by iron chain link and broken by small iron gate in the roadside face. Dedication to men of the parish who gave their lives in the First World War is carried on front face of plinth with names listed on the other sides. WW2 dedication on riser of second step, front face, dates set in the corners. Initially unveiled 1922 with WW2 dedication unveiled 1948. (1-2)
