White marble obelisk on a square pedestal resting on four steps of different sizes, located outside a small row of terraced bungalows known as Memorial Cottages. The monument is surrounded by a low stone wall with railings and a gate. The dedication for the First World War is on the front face of the pedestal whilst the names are in single columns on the sides of the pedestal. The dedication for 1939-1945 is on the riser of the steps below, the names in two columns on the riser below that. (1-2)
