This war memorial stands at the junction of Prince Charles Avenue and Durham Road in Bowburn, constructed of a coursed stone plinth on a concrete platform with a sloping face bearing the inscription dedicated to all those who fall in war to bring us peace. The momnument is set at the rear of a semi-circular pebbled area backing onto a green. Pin kerbs and rails have been added to which wreaths can be secured.
