Zinc Mine at Willyhole Mine (Lower), Forest and Frith
This was once the site of a zinc and lead mine. It was opened in 1896 and a dressing plant stood nearby. The mine closed between 1912 and 1914 and was then mined for lead, barytes and zinc. The mine was closed for good in the 1920s.
Lead mine, later used for zinc extraction. Moderately well-preserved early 20th century zinc dressing floor with associated lead/zinc minimg features.
