This is a listed building. Abbey Bridge crosses the River Tees at this point. Built in 1773 for John Sawrey Morritt. Constructed mainly of dressed sandstone with some lower rubble layers. The bridge is battlemented along the parapet Abbey Bridge straddles the parishes of Westwick and Egglestone Abbey.
